I’m Busy – and booked out till 2023!

At this time, I am not taking on any additional clients for coordination and event management services for the remainder of 2022 and the first quarter of 2023. With my busy schedule, I can only handle officiant-type bookings or work with you through the venue I manage, OMSI. This is a good thing for me – maybe a not so great thing for you and I recognize that and do apologize. I recommend that if you are seeking a planner from the Portland Metro Area, that you please research and source a Certified Wedding Planner. They will come equipped with a multitude of not only experience, but resources such as deep partner discounts they can pass along to you as their client. They exist – they are not a unicorn! How do I know this? Because I am one too! Love to you all and I wish you all the best on your next adventures! ❤ –Emily

Certified Wedding Planner – Graduated!

With the Covid-19 pandemic, I have had time to pivot my business and advance my knowledge within the Industry. I have just passed an advanced certification course, and am happy to announce that I am a Certified Wedding Planner, or CWP for short. With that, I will be increasing my service fees to meet the national average and position myself more competitively.

Please note – service rates increase by 35 % to meet market demands on August 1st. Book now to lock in lower rates.

Still standing!

Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to provide a quick update.
This is my down season, but it’s engagement season so things are heating up all over the place, including the venue that I manage, The Nursery. I won’t be taking on many more clients for this upcoming season – my calendar is filling up quickly, and I have been wanting to focus more attention on the venue, which is a TON of FUN for me.
I have recently gone through some pretty tough life-changing events, but am feeling like I am getting my footing again. I have much more emotional and physical space to cut loose, learn, and breathe.
So what’s happening this season?!?
I’m currently partnering with some awesome volunteers and amazingly talented folks at KLiK Concepts for an incredible event, Portland Train Day 2018 happening May 19th at Oregon Rail Heritage Center.
Also happening in May is the Regional Burning Man event, SOAK, of which I am a long-standing volunteer.
I wanted to thank all of you for sticking with me, checking in from time to time, and providing me with inspiration to keep moving onward. I look forward to working with some of you on your celebrations this upcoming season as well as meeting you in passing and at these exciting events!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone!
I know it has been a while since I have posted or reached out. I have recently been undergoing some major life changes and am still in transition, but want you all to know that I am still here! I have some really exciting events and partnerships under contract to look forward to for 2018, and am still accepting bookings for spring and summer 2018.
I certainly have higher aspirations for my and my son’s futures than ever before, and hope that will be well reflected in my work.
From the cocoon emerges a beautiful butterfly.
I will be hoping for lots of candy and zero upset tummies for you and your families tonight!
Stay in touch!

The Ash is Falling

Three summers ago, when I started this business, I coordinated a sweet little wedding out near Corbett.
My thoughts are with the host family as they are in the area on the evacuation list from the Eagle Creek Fire.
I have so much anger towards those teens who mindlessly started the fire. A lot of precious memories and resources are burning out there.
